In the heart of Oranjestad, Aruba stands a historic building with a rich legacy. Built in the 1920s, it was home to the Mansur family, who migrated to the island seeking a new life. Miguel Mansur, the patriarch, opened a store called "El Globo" on the ground floor, which became a beloved community hub. Over the years, this building has witnessed the drop and flow of Aruban life, yet it has steadfastly remained a symbol of community, heritage, and enduring spirit. Though El Globo closed its doors, the building continues to stand tall as a cherished landmark—capturing the rich history of its inhabitants and the vibrant essence of Aruba’s cultural legacy
